How does the live slideshow work?

Accepted Answer

You get a PIN-protected link that you open on a projector or TV. Photos rotate automatically and new photos appear in real time – perfect for weddings and conferences! If you want more control, you can also moderate which photos are shown in the slideshow, on any plan. Just approve the photos you want to show and they appear in the slideshow right away.

What happens when the storage period ends?

You get a reminder 14 days in advance. Either download all your photos for free or extend storage for 29 SEK/month. We never delete photos without warning.

When does the storage period start counting?

Accepted Answer

The storage period starts when the first photo is uploaded to the event. Before that you can freely test and prepare everything. If you want to experiment before the first upload, you can create a free test event and upload a photo there, so your real event isn't affected. When you're done testing, just delete the test event or leave it and it will be removed automatically after 14 days.

Can I prevent guests from seeing any photos before the event is over?

Yes! You can choose to hide photos until the event is over. You do this by changing visibility to 'Private' in the event settings. That way you can make sure no photos are shown before you're ready.

Yes! You can turn off uploads at any time with a setting in the event's settings.

Do you compress photos and videos?

Accepted Answer

No, we never downscale photos or videos — you keep the full resolution exactly as your guests uploaded them. The only thing we do is convert all photos to JPG format to guarantee they work smoothly everywhere (e.g. iPhone HEIC photos). Videos are left completely untouched in their original format and quality.
