Do guests have to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code or open the link and upload straight from their phone's browser. There's no app to install and no account to create.
Where are the photos stored?
All data is stored within the EU/EEA. We use Hetzner in Germany and Finland for hosting, Supabase in Sweden for the database and Azure Blob Storage for the files. All traffic is protected with HTTPS/TLS.
Who owns the photos that are uploaded?
You and your guests do. We don't use your photos for any other purpose, don't sell them on and show no advertising. You can delete individual files or the whole event whenever you like.
How long does it take to get started?
A couple of minutes. You create an account, name your event and immediately get a QR code and an invite link to print or share.
What does it cost to start?
The free plan costs nothing, needs no card details and holds 50 uploads with 14 days of storage. Paid plans are a one-off cost per event – there's no subscription.
Can I control which photos are visible?
Yes. With moderation turned on, new photos wait in a queue until you approve them. You can also make the event private, so only you as organizer sees the gallery.
Which file types can be uploaded?
Images such as JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP and HEIC/HEIF, plus videos such as MP4, MOV and WebM. HEIC and PNG are converted to JPEG for compatibility – otherwise we keep the original format.
